Get ready for interviews with our online tool Shortlist Me. Simulate a real interview, rehearse, and record your responses, before getting AI feedback. You can choose from a range of sector specific roles and organisations to gain relevant experience in your field.

Profiling For Success

Discover more about yourself, your values and jobs you may like with Profiling For Success, delivered by Team Focus. This online tool can help you explore career options and planning your next steps.

Practice for the different assessments used in the recruitment process, including assessments on areas of your personality, capability, motivation and relationships.

To access Profiling For Success:

1. Log in to Swansea University's network, then sign in.
2. Chose the test you would like to complete e.g. the values based indicator of motivation test.
3. You’ll then receive a personal report by email once you have completed each test.

If this is your first time using the platform, you’ll need to create an account. Enter your name and the first part of your email address, before choosing a password and click on ‘Create Account’. You’ll then be sent an email containing a link to confirm your email address (check your junk/spam folders if you can’t find the email).

If this is a repeat visit, just sign in and enter your login details.

Please use your student e-mail address when prompted, this will ensure your reports arrive.

Student Circus

A one stop shop for international students’ job search.

Student Circus is a leading job readiness platform for international students, with pre-filtered visa-sponsored jobs for a variety of markets. Used its filters to search for jobs based on location, sector, and companies to find what you’re looking for.

Or, if you’re thinking of going back home after graduation, you can also search for jobs in your home country and find out who’s hiring before you leave campus.

It also has handy immigration guides and country requirements available to read, which can help with knowing the processes to follow.

Whatever your search may be, Student Circus is a great place to start for international students!

Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace Training Courses

The courses will cover everything you need so that you can detail Microsoft 365 and/or Google Workspace Skills with confidence in your next job application. Though you may be familiar with the platforms, have you ever used them professionally in an integrated manner, collaborating within and between organisations?

Each course is self-paced and totally online, so you can complete it in your own time. All you need to do is watch the videos and complete the associated Quizzes. You will receive a certificate to share on social media upon completion of the course.
