Article 25
Handling of the relevant personnel in a fight:
1. Organiser:
Those who plan to fight with others and cause minor consequences will be given a serious warning or above;
Those who plan to fight with others and cause serious consequences will be punished by probation in School, depending on the circumstances.
2. Fighter:
(1) Those who hit someone first without injuring others shall be given the punishment of a serious warning; Those who cause injuries to others shall be given the punishment of a demerit. If the circumstances are serious, the student shall be punished with a detention. If the circumstances are particularly serious, they shall be punished with expulsion;
(2) Those who hit others without injuring them shall be punished by a warning. Those who cause injuries to others shall be punished by a serious warning. If the circumstances are serious, a demerit shall be given. If the circumstances are particularly serious, the student shall be punished by a detention;
(3) Those who use or attempt to use weapons shall be expelled.
Those who participate in fighting shall be given a warning or above, according to the circumstances.
3. Perjurer:
A serious warning or demerit shall be given to those who intentionally give false testimony to others and cause difficulties in the investigation.
4. Those who intentionally provide equipment for others to fight and do not cause injuries to others, shall be given a serious warning. Those who cause others to be injured, shall be given the punishment of a demerit or above, according to the circumstances.
5. Heckler:
Those who gather students to heckle or participate in heckling during the fight, and cause the situation to develop, shall be given punishments above a warning according to the situation.
6. Those who participate in group fights shall be given punishments above a serious warning according to the circumstances. Those who organize and take the lead in group fights shall be given the punishment of School expulsion.
7. There shall be aggravated punishment for threatening or intimidating the victim after fighting.
8. In the course of fighting, those who simultaneously commit several of the acts listed in each article of this chapter shall be punished to the highest degree of the amount committed, up to expulsion from School.
Article 26
Anyone who participates in assemblies or disrupts normal public order in other public places shall be punished with a warning or above, depending on the circumstances.
Article 27
Anyone who steals, defrauds, embezzles, forcibly steals national, collective or private property, falsifies bills and cards, forges other people's goods, forges other people's signatures, etc., shall be punished with a warning or above, depending on the circumstances. Those who violate the law shall be handed over to judicial agencies for treatment.
Article 28
The School strictly prohibits students from gambling or providing conditions for gambling. Violators will be dealt with in accordance with the following provisions:
1. Those who participate in gambling or provide conditions for gambling for the first time shall be punished with a serious warning
2. Those who have participated in gambling or provided conditions for gambling on more than two occasions shall be punished with a demerit or higher, depending on the circumstances.
3. Those who engage in recreational activities without gambling, but interfere with the normal order of teaching and life, shall be punished with a warning or above, depending on the circumstances.
Article 29
Anyone who intentionally damages public or private property shall be given a warning or above, depending on the circumstances. Anyone who violates the law shall be handed over to the judicial authorities.
Article 30
The handling of those who affect the safety by illegally using electricity, privately pulling wires and using various stoves:
1. The illegal use or storage of electric furnaces, heaters, electric plates or heaters, kerosene, alcohol or gas furnaces, etc., will be given punishments above a warning, according to the circumstances;
2. For private pulling, disorderly connection of wires or use of open flame, etc., will be given punishments above a warning, according to the circumstances;
3. Those who illegally use electricity or an open flame to cause fire of lines or articles will be given punishments of a demerit or above in addition to paying compensation for losses.
Article 31
Anyone who causes serious pollution to the campus environment shall be punished with a warning or above, depending on the circumstances.
Article 32
Anyone who smokes in public places or dormitories on campus, causing serious consequences, shall be punished with a demerit or above, depending on the circumstances. Any student who is drunk and causes trouble shall be punished with a serious warning or above, depending on the circumstances.
Article 33
Treatment of violation of the daily life system.
1. Students who, without permission, miss a dormitory more than three times in a term shall be given a warning, and students who miss a dormitory more than four times shall be given a serious warning or more.
2. A warning will be given to anyone who stays with another person without permission once during the semester, and a serious warning or more will be given to anyone who stays with another person more than twice.
Article 34
Anyone who rents a room outside the School without the approval of the School will be given a severe warning or more, depending on the circumstances.
Article 35
If a student leaves School or does not return to School on time without the permission of the School, he/she will be dealt with as follows:
1. Warning for unauthorised absence or delayed return for more than one day but less than two days;
2. Serious warning for unauthorised absence or delayed return for more than three days but less than four days;
3. Demerit for unauthorised absence or delayed return for more than five days but less than eight days;
4. Probation for a leaving School or returning to School without permission for more than nine days but less than 13 days.
5. Expulsion for unauthorised absence or delayed return for more than 14 days.
Article 36
Those who do not complete their work tasks seriously and on time, and those who are not responsible for their duty, etc., causing serious consequences, will be given a warning or above depending on the circumstances.
Article 37
Anyone who damages notices, circulars, bulletins, boards, etc., posted or written by various Departments of the School will be given a warning or more, depending on the circumstances.
Article 38
Students who violate the School's regulations when they leave the School by burning, breaking objects, destroying public property, or seriously affecting the order of life, etc., will be punished with more than a demerit, depending on the circumstances, and their employers will be notified.
Article 39
Anyone who keeps animals in dormitories will be punished with a warning or above, depending on the circumstances.
Article 40
Anyone who spreads or disseminates bad information or slanders, defames or harasses others, or maliciously attacks public websites through mobile phones or the internet, will be given a warning or more, depending on the circumstances.
Article 41
Anyone who conceals the truth or harbours a student who has violated the law shall be punished with a warning or above, depending on the circumstances.
Article 42
Anyone who intimidates or retaliates against whistle-blowers or witnesses during the investigation of disciplinary sanctions shall be punished with a demerit or above.
Article 43
Students majoring in navigation shall strictly abide by the "Implementation Measures of Semi-Military Management of Dalian Maritime University". Those who violate the relevant provisions of the "Implementation Measures of Semi-Military Management of Dalian Maritime University" three times in one semester shall be given a warning, and those who violate them more than four times shall be given a serious warning or above.
