Guidelines on Assessment or Examination through the medium of Welsh
All students have the right to sit written exams, or to submit written work for assessment, in Welsh, whether Welsh or English is the main assessment language of the module in question. If you wish to submit written assignments or an exam in Welsh on a module taught in English, you will need to complete an electronic form. Students in the first year of study must complete the form within four weeks of the relevant module starting to allow appropriate preparation time. Returning students (Year 2 and above) must notify their Faculty as soon as possible, ideally before the start of the relevant module(s). If you have not submitted the application within the timeframe noted above, it cannot be guaranteed that you will be able to submit the work in Welsh.
