Experiencing difficulties accessing your University emails or Canvas?

Technology is a real blessing but we can find ourselves very frustrated if our IT equipment or software starts letting us down, especially if it means that we cannot access vital systems like Canvas, intranet records and University email accounts. Fear not help is at hand! If you are experiencing any difficulties accessing your University email, Canvas account or any of the other University systems then you must contact the University’s IT Team.

The Centre for Academic Success

Careers Consultant Videos

One of the University’s Careers Consultants has produced some helpful videos for you with top tips on how you can be successful in your career. There are a wide range of videos you can view from ‘CV tips’, ‘Interview mistakes’ and ‘What should I do with my life?’.

Submitting work to Turnitin using the Camscanner App

If you need to submit assessments to Turnitin in a pdf format using your mobile phone, then Camscanner is an excellent way of doing so. Here is a YouTube video that you can view to find out how to use the app.

Library Support Available for Students

Returning Books:
Any books that you have on loan will auto-renew. You won't be charged any fines during this time. The latest information about library closures will always be available at Libraries and Archives.

Online Library Guide:
There is a library guide to support people using our library resources remotely. Here students (and staff) can find advice on finding eBooks and online journal articles. The guide also offers one place to access the online chat service, book zoom appointments with librarians and find all of our online tutorials.
