Why is your Student Voice Important?
As a Science and Engineering student, you hold a very important role: to make sure your voice is heard.
As a Science and Engineering student, you hold a very important role: to make sure your voice is heard.
As a Science and Engineering student, you've embarked on a journey with us. We'll aim to provide you with the tools to move successfully through your programme, often pointing you to additional resources and support when needed.
We'll do our best to create an engaging learning environment for you to develop the knowledge and skills you need for the future. But we cannot do it without your ideas and comments.
Whilst we offer you direction, your feedback can help create alternative routes that we might not have considered, leading to positive changes and enhancements across the University.
For examples of changes made across the University, you can refer to the central Together We Changed page.
Help to keep us evolving by joining the discussion on MyUniVoice. As well as getting to hear what others think, you can take part in our monthly discussion topics. The more we hear from you - the easier it is for us to make sure you have access to everything you need.
Tell us what you'd like via the board for your School now!
Go to MyUniVoice.Remember, we want to ensure all students are given the chance to raise feedback. To make sure your voice is heard, we check out our top tips for effective feedback.
Raise any issues or comments as they arise - this allows us staff to investigate and work with you and test out solutions that will strengthen your experience.
When you raise feedback, try to provide as much detail as you're able. This helps us to direct the feedback and deal with it efficiently. If we need to know more, we might come back to you with questions to gain further insight so that we can work together on an appropriate solution.
Feedback should be solution focused, we want to hear when there's an issue, but we also want to hear how you'd fix it. Remember, solutions should be balanced, offering an enhancement to the experience for everyone.
There are lots of ways to offer feedback on all areas of your experience. Check out other ways to get involved below.
We want your voice to remain unobstructed. If you still aren't sure of the best place to share your questions comments or feedback, please reach out to the Student Experience and Engagement Team.
