I grew up in the middle east and had the amazing opportunity to learn from people from all across the globe. throughout my life I have been fascinated by the natural world and animals that reside on earth. My aspriations like in a career in research with progressing onto a PhD after my masters being the next step on that journey.
BEING A SUBJECT REPRESENTATIVE
My cohort is made up of so many interesting and intelligent individuals that deserve to share their research and get the most out of their degree. I hope that i can represent them and work with them in disseminating their work in new and exciting ways.
KEY RESPONSIBILTIES
As a representative I hope to act as a bridge between the students and the staff relaying information and feedback (both. positive and negative) to incite change and progression as well as supporting my peers.
MY CURRENT STUDIES...
I am currently a Masters student on the MRes Behavioural ecology and evolution course. So as you can imagine I am passionate in understanding why animals behave in the ways they do, is it driven by their genes, the environment or something else entirely? I completed my undergraduate in Zoology here at Swansea graduating this summer, and loved Swansea so much I decided to stay! I’m so happy I chose to continue onto postgraduate studies here, working on a project on banded mongooses (not mongeese).
