Bigger Picture Festival Cookbook
Do you have a favourite family recipe, a dish that's always present at celebrations, or a meal that reminds you of home? As part of the Bigger Picture Festival, we're creating a special Cultural Cookbook to celebrate the incredible diversity of our student community, and we'd love for you to be a part of it. Share a recipe that reflects your culture, heritage or traditions, and help us tell the stories that bring people together through food.
Whether it's a treasured family recipe passed down through generations, a dish that's central to a religious or cultural celebration, or simply a meal that means something special to you, we want to hear about it. You're also welcome to include the story behind your recipe, giving others an insight into its significance and the memories or traditions connected to it.
All recipes will be considered for inclusion in the cookbook, and students will have the chance to vote for their favourites. The winning recipe will be recreated by the University's Executive Chef, giving one lucky student the unique opportunity to take part in a special 'Cook with Carl' experience. The winner will also receive £30 of catering credit.
To enter, simply email your recipe, along with any story or background you'd like to share, to student-engagement@swansea.ac.uk before Friday 30th October. We can't wait to discover the flavours, traditions and stories that make our community so unique.
