In this session you will find out more information about your course and how you’ll study. You’ll start to get to know your coursemates and get settled into your learning community.

4:00-6:00pm  From Google Scholar to GenAI: Research skills for getting the most out of your time at Swansea (Room 130, First Floor, Keir Hardie Building OR Online via Zoom) **Compulsory**

You’ve got your Canvas access and module guides, but what next? This interactive session will cover key skills and resources on a) how to access and engage with research materials for your modules, b) how to use the readings to plan and write your assignments, and c) what the rise of AI means for your assessments. The session will also introduce you to Swansea’s Centre for Academic Success, which is freely available to you and offers a range of additional resources to maximise your results.
