" Welcome to Year 1 of your Civil Engineering degree. Regardless of your path to get here, you now face exciting challenges and opportunities over the next few years! Make the most of your Welcome Week activities to understand your course, university policies, and support mechanisms, to prepare yourself for success.

Please participate in the social events planned which will help you to get to know your new classmates as you will be working closely with them very soon. As your year coordinator and programme director, we will be dealing with any issues that arise in Year 1, providing support and being points of contact for your feedback.
